Lymphatic Drainage Technique

Lymphatic Drainage Technique is manual manipulation of the lymphatic ducts. It consists of gentle, rhythmic massaging of the skin to stimulate the flow of lymph and its return to the blood circulation system.

In the blood’s passage through the kidneys, the excess fluid is filtered out and eliminated from the body through urination.

The treatment is very gentle and a typical session will involve drainage of the neck, trunk, and involved extremity (in that order), lasting approximately 40 to 60 minutes.

Lymphatic Drainage Technique is generally effective on non-fibrotic lymphedema and less effective on more fibrotic legs, although it has been shown to help break up fibrotic tissue.

Ear Candling

Ear Candling is a natural way to remove energetic blockages inside the ear. A long, hollow, tapered "candle," usually a cone made of muslin and coated with wax, is inserted into the ear and lit.

The smoke moves down the cone, into the ear and back out, creating a vacuum effect that releases blockages.

Energy Therapies

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing is a "no-touch" modality that focuses on cleansing the aura by removing the negative energy that otherwise affects the organs and their related chakras, which would then lead to illness or disease.

Chakra Spinning

"Chakra" is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheels of light". This is descriptive of the appearance of the chakras which are like vortexes of energy which spin.

Each chakra is structured uniquely to receive and transmit the particular qualities of energy which are necessary for the area of functioning governed by the chakra.

Your chakras can become blocked and your therapist can "spin" each blocked chakra and allow the energy to flow freely up and down the spine, giving a sense of well being.
